Hi! I’m Lyn, and I own Trail Waggers Pet Care!

A little about me:
I grew up always having dogs in the home- both big and small! I began pet sitting at a young age for friends, family, and neighbors where I took care of all types of animals. In 2019, I started working professionally at a facility that provided doggy daycare, pet boarding, training, and vet services! I dove into the pet industry and quickly fell in love with it. I moved from Connecticut to North Carolina in 2021 and adopted my own pup, Seal, who quickly became my little sidekick. In 2022, I took on a role managing a local doggy daycare and boarding facility.
In the summer of 2023, I took a leap of faith to begin offering my pet care services full-time! Petsitting and dog walking is now my full-time passion (job), and I couldn’t ask for anything better!
The mission of Trail Waggers is to provide one on one care for each individual pet’s needs. I’ve been so fortunate to have had the chance to work with so many different dogs and cats and learn how to care for different types of needs along the way, such as medications, wheel chairs, amputees, etc.

About the Sitter
How to Get Started
Step 1: Become a client
Create your account in the Client Portal and add all of your information, and your pets! Please be sure to include all pets in the home, even if they don't need my care. Hamsters, snakes, fish (you can put a tank in as one pet if preferred), etc. should all be attached to your profile. An up to date rabies vaccine should be attached to each applicable animal's profile.

Step 2: Book your meet and greet
Meet and greets are required for all dogs and cats. This gives your pet a chance to meet me before their service starts, so that they feel comfortable knowing I'm not a stranger! During the meet and greet, I will ask all questions needed for your pet's care while taking note of everything under their pet profile. We will also go over any questions that you or I may have, and go over the Trail Waggers contract. If you'd like to do this beforehand, you can print a copy of our contract here: click here. If needed, you will also receive a lockbox that will be required to hold your key outside of your door. Clients that do not require lock boxes are clients who already have their own, or use a keypad system to unlock their door. Lock boxes or other secure devices are otherwise required to prevent any keys from getting lost or forgotten.
Meet and greets for dogs:
Your choice to meet at Greensboro Country Park, Summerfield Community Park, or Jamestown Gibson Park.
Meet and greets for cats:
Scheduled video call over Google Meet and then plan via video call when I will do a home visit for official meet and greet. All home visits must meet me outside before going in.

Step 3: Book your first service!
Now that we got the hard part out of the way, it's time to get to the fun part! Book between your choice of a 30 or 60 minute drop-in service or dog walk! This can be done in the Client Portal. Bookings are preferred to be requested 5-7 days in advance, but accommodations may be able to be made for last minute plans. Remember, each service is first come first serve!

Step 4: Leave us a 5 paw review
It is certainly not required, but always appreciated! Our pet care services grow with the support of others, and our biggest advertisement is word of mouth! Reviews can be left on Facebook, or Google!

Meet the sitter and go over any feeding, medication, bathroom, and day-to-day details about your pet(s), free lockbox given to be required for keys
Drop-in Services
1-2 pets:

60min - $35
3+ pets:
Each additional pet - +$5
Includes:
Meals, water refills, administering oral and/or topical medication, potty breaks, play time, cleaning as needed, photos, detailed report card
